These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) apply to all laundry services provided by Laundry Life (“we”, “us”, “our”) to customers (“you”, “your”).
By placing an order with Laundry Life — whether via QR code, website, or in-store assisted ordering — you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not place an order.
About Laundry* Life.
Laundry* Life. is a bag-based laundry service offering wash, dry, fold and ironing services through a network of partner convenience stores.
Laundry is:

Dropped off at a participating store
-
Ordered and paid for digitally via QR code
-
Processed at our facility
-
Returned to the same store for collection
We do not currently offer home collection or home delivery.
Definitions
-
Bag: One Laundry* Life. laundry bag (Single, Double or Family size).
-
Order: A request for Services placed by you and accepted by us.
-
Services: Laundry services including wash, dry, fold and/or ironing.
-
Partner Store: A convenience store authorised to accept and return Laundry Life orders.
-
Item(s): Clothing or textiles included by you in a Bag.
Placing An Order
3.1 Orders are placed by scanning a QR code at a Partner Store or via an assisted in-store process.
3.2 You are responsible for:

Selecting the correct service options

Reviewing prices before payment
-
Ensuring your Bag contains only accepted items as outlined in the pre-requisites checklist
3.3 An Order is only accepted once:

Payment has been successfully completed, and
-
You receive an order confirmation (via screen, SMS or email)
3.4 We reserve the right to refuse or cancel Orders that:

Contain prohibited items
-
Breach these Terms and the pre-requisites checklist

Cannot be processed safely or hygienically
Bag-Based Service
4.1 Laundry Life operates a bag-based service, not an item-by-item service.
4.2 Items are:

Washed, dried and folded together as one load
-
Not individually counted, tagged, or inspected
4.3 By placing an Order, you accept that:

Missing or damaged item claims are assessed per bag, not per item

We do not guarantee item-level tracking
Bag Sizes and Pricing
5.1 We offer three bag sizes:
-
Single
-
Double
-
Family
5.2 Pricing is fixed per bag, regardless of the number of items inside, provided the Bag is not overfilled.
5.3 Add-ons (such as ironing or express service) are priced separately and shown clearly before payment.
Washing & Care Standards
6.1 Standard wash process:
-
Mixed wash at 30–40°C
-
Standard tumble dry
-
Light fold (unless ironing selected)
6.2 No colour separation is provided.
You are responsible for separating colours before drop-off.
6.3 We do not offer:
-
Delicate cycles
-
Wool, silk, cashmere, lace, or hand-wash-only care
6.4 Only items that are machine-washable and tumble-dry-safe should be included.
Detergents
7.1 Our standard detergent is a bio detergent with a light fresh scent.
7.2 You may select:

Non-bio (free)
-
Fragrance-free (free)
-
Premium fragrance (extra charge)
-
Cult / eco detergent (extra charge)
7.3 Detergent preferences apply per bag, not per item.
Ironing Services
8.1 Ironing is:
-
Available as an add-on to wash & dry services, or
-
Available as a standalone iron & fold service
8.2 Ironed items are returned neatly folded unless otherwise stated.
Prohibited & Restricted Items
Not accepted:
-
Wool, silk, cashmere, lace, delicates
-
“Do Not Tumble Dry” items
-
Duvets, pillows, heavy blankets
-
Bulky coats or oversized items
-
Heavily soiled or contaminated clothing
-
Items requiring hand wash or specialist care
9.2 If restricted items are found:
-
The Bag may be returned unwashed
-
A return or call-out fee may apply
Customer Responsibilities
You must ensure:
-
Pockets are emptied
-
Items are suitable for machine washing and tumble drying
-
No hazardous items are included (coins, pens, keys, etc.)
We are not liable for damage caused by items left in pockets.
Turnaround Times
11.1 Standard turnaround: 24–48 hours
11.2 Express services may be available depending on capacity.
11.3 Turnaround times are not guaranteed and may vary due to operational constraints.
Drop-Off & Collection
12.1 Laundry is collected and returned to the same Partner Store.
12.2 Partner Stores typically hold completed orders for up to 48 hours.
12.3 If uncollected:

Storage or re-delivery fees may apply
-
After 30 days, items may be donated or responsibly recycled
Payment
13.1 Payment is primarily digital via QR link.
13.2 Accepted payment methods include:

Card

Apple Pay
-
Google Pay
-
PayPal
13.3 Cash may be accepted at selected Partner Stores but is not guaranteed.
Cancellations & Refunds
14.1 Orders cannot be cancelled once processing has begun.
14.2 Refunds are issued only where:

We are unable to provide the Service, or
-
We agree the Service was materially below standard
Quality Issues & Rewashing
15.1 If you are dissatisfied, contact us within 48 hours of collection.
15.2 Where appropriate, we may:
-
Rewash the Bag free of charge, or
-
Offer a partial refund or credit
Loss, Damage & Liability
16.1 We are not responsible for:
-
Normal wear and tear
-
Colour bleeding or fading
-
Shrinkage of unsuitable garments
16.2 Liability is limited to:
-
A bag-based compensation cap
-
Compliance with care labels and these Terms
16.3 Declared or prohibited items are excluded from liability.
Force Majeure
We are not liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to:

Fire, flood, strikes, supply chain disruption, or system outages
Personal Data
Your personal data is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by English law, and disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
